Here's what works, and what doesn't
The staff was friendly and proactive, fixing my room issue before I asked! The beds were comfortable and the space was overall very cozy & clean.
The decor felt outdated, and some carpets showed signs of wear,, which diminished the overall appeal. The breakfast options left much to be desired.

Really enjoyed every detail about my amazing 1 night stay here. Comforts of a double room were fabulous - central heating, a flat-screen TV and an electronic key card. Also, location was good, just 5 minutes walk from American Quarter Horse Museum.

I had a great stay with a very comfortable bed and the room was clean and nicely decorated. The shower had fantastic pressure, and I appreciated the fridge in the room.

It was just a balanced option for a brief retreat in Amarillo with excellent value for money. The wet sheets in the window sills were a bit off-putting, but thankfully the room itself was smoke-free. If you're allergic to smoke, make sure to double-check your room request.

clean rooms, decent TV selection, strong water pressure
The lobby reeked of smoke!!! Windows leaked water. Some lights in the room didn't work, and parking seemed like a free-for-all!!!

The Budget Single Room was pretty comfy and clean. Yes, it's an older building, and I could see some peeling wallpaper, but the TV worked great, and the fridge was a nice touch. The beds were decent enough, and it was nice and quiet despite being next to the freeway. Just a heads-up, common areas had that old cigarette smell. A solid spot for a quick stay.

Staying here with my grandchildren was enjoyable. The staff was friendly during check-in, and having a fridge in the room was a nice touch for snacks throughout the day. We also appreciated the quiet surroundings for a good night's sleep.
In my kids' opinion, the breakfast options could be better. It's always a challenge to find something they like in the morning.
